My first ever Spartan Race was the Beast in Krynica Poland, during the summer of 2016. I had no idea what to expect – although I was familiar with OCR – but I was sold. So I registered for the Peterborough Sprint and Super in September in order to get my trifecta. And with that trifecta completed, I got hungry for more…
In 2017, my goal is to complete as many Trifectas as I can. Since all Spartan Races are held abroad and I have to take into account all the travel expences, I will only run Spartan Races and skip all other OCR events. If everything goes to plan and I can run attend all Spartan Races on my list, I hope to gather 7 trifectas. The complete list of runs I’m trying to run can be found at the races page.
In order to reduce costs as much as possible I purchased season passes for both France and the UK. With these passes I can register in as many races as I like in those countries for one fixed price.
For now, I’ll start training to be in the best shape I’ve ever been because the coming year I will push my mind a body to the limit but I’m sure it will be worth it.
